Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be simpler.  Just select the items you require and click ‘Add to Cart’.  Once you have chosen the items you have chosen click on your shopping cart at the top right of the page where you’ll be directed to an Order Summary page enabling you to check your order, before proceeding with your delivery information and payment.


Delivery

Delivery charges are calculated at the time of ordering.  To obtain an exact delivery charge please add the items to your basket, then begin the checkout procedure.  In the case of the wood beds, because they are large, the delivery cost is not only based upon weight, but also volume.

Below is a delivery cost guide to send an item to a UK mainland address:

Spare covers: between £4 and £7 depending on how many covers ordered

Cluster fibre mattress & cover only: £14

Wood bed with mattress & cover: £30

The delivery prices quoted above are for UK Mainland only. If you require your goods to be shipped outside UK Mainland please contact us directly for a quotation.

Unfortunately, courier companies charge an additional fee for delivery to UK addresses they classify as remote.  These include remote Scottish mainland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.  We will advise you by email if there is any surcharge to pay for delivery.

Once an order has been accepted, we shall do our best to despatch within a week, if not sooner.  We will notify you when your goods are on the way.  All our beds are made to order, so occasionally there may be a slight delay which we will notify you of on receipt of your order. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by other manufacturers or carriers. The Dog Bed Company will not accept any liability for any consequential loss caused by delays.

If you need your dog bed urgently, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your request.


Returns

As all our dog beds are made-to-order, once delivery has been made, refunds or exchanges can only be made if the piece is deemed faulty.


Orders are checked before being dispatched and are packaged well to avoid damage during transit. In the unlikely event of your bed being damaged when you receive it please contact us within 48 hours. Despite the fact the bed may be damaged, it must be returned to us, and you are responsible for its safe return so please make sure the bed is suitable packaged, preferably in its original carton with the bubble wrap to protect it. We can only handle and concur your claims, once we receive the piece back. We can help book the return courier but you are responsible for packaging the bed appropriately.

We are not liable for any returned items which are lost in the post or transit, so we suggest the items must be sent back using a trackable/recorded delivery method.

Failure to deliver to you by the specified time, is not permissible grounds for cancellation without penalty. Our cancellation penalty is 25% of the total price quoted on your order confirmation/invoice.
